What do you do when your friends say “come to the new WW1 event with us next weekend…please?” & you’ve never “done” WW1 before? If you’re like me, you download this skirt & dig up some random brown linen from your stash. Viola, WW1 skirt!

I have made my fair share of skirts, but getting that proportion, length & shape just right for a particular era is tough. I didn’t have to do any fiddling or adjusting of this pattern for it to fit perfectly. The instructions were dead simple & it was SO easy to put together. I think it only took me 4 hours total.

Thanks to this skirt, I’m actually glad my friends invited me to that event!
