You need our pattern for this beautiful ladies’ split riding skirt.
Our pattern, based on an original pattern from the 1910s, fits modern waists 20″ through 40″, hips 34″ through 54″ with instructions for larger and combination sizes.
All sizes are included in one pattern. Detailed instructions, period tailoring directions, embellishment suggestions, and historical notes are also included.
Suggested Fabrics:
worsted wool, whipcord, heavy cotton twill
Notions:
thread, buttons for side closure
Yardage Requirements:
5 yards at least 54″ wide (less if piecing)
3 yards for boot-top length version
