    This is a fantastically simple pattern (basically you have two large pieces of cloth and cut two halves and away you go. Not only is it suitable for re-enactment proper (using all the correct techniques and materials) but is also easily adaptable for LARP fun – in my case this has become a super warm velvet coat which also contains a number of hidden pockets and weapon loops ( the bulk and drape of the coat hides a multitude of ‘sins’). Extremely simple to make suitable for people of all sewing ability.
