As a fairly lousy seamstress, I was a bit nervous about tackling this one. I shouldn’t have worried! It went together beautifully, and I was even perfectly within your pattern sizes. I’m so used to being bigger than patterns that I just automatically added a couple inches where I assumed the usual tight spots would be, and ended up having to cut it all back down to the original pattern lines. That never happens to me. So yeah, I’ll be making more of these. Thanks for a great dress!

I have had exemplary service from Reconstructing History. The downloadable patterns worked well. It helps to have sewn before in following the instructions, but going slow, one step at a time will ensure a happy ending for first time costume makers. I have no complaints with the patterns whatsoever, and feel well cared for and cared about as a client.
