You need our umbrella petticoat skirt pattern based on an original pattern from the Edwardian period.  Fits waists 20″ through 40″, hips 30″ through 50″ with instructions how to alter for larger sizes.

All sizes are included in one pattern. Detailed instructions, period tailoring directions, embellishment suggestions, and historical notes are also included.

cambric, other lingerie cottons

thread, buttons, snaps or hooks and eyes for front closure

    I found the instructions a little vague in the construction of certain parts. I think it may be because I’m not super advanced at sewing. I made the petticoat without the flounce just because I didn’t have the extra fabric to make it. The outcome was really pretty but construction was challenging.
    I think the yoke sizes are really off. I think I had to take…. Maybe 8 inches off the length of the yoke to get it to fit to my waist. Just keep in mind to keep fitting the skirt as you make the pattern as youll have to make many adjustments.
