RH960 — Late Victorian (1870s-1890s) Apron Drapery Overskirt




Add beautiful drapery detail to your Victorian outfit!

You need our late Victorian apron drapery pattern based on an original pattern from the 1870s.  Fits waists 20″ through 40″, hips 30″ through 50″ with instructions how to alter for larger sizes.

This pattern is for the drapery (purple or garnet on the cover art).  This pattern does not include the underskirt (blue or red).  See RH943 for Bodice pattern.  See RH946 for Underskirt pattern.

All sizes are  included in one pattern. Detailed instructions, period tailoring directions, embellishment suggestions, and historical notes are also included.

Suggested Fabrics:
wool, linen, cotton, silk

thread, fabric tape, buttons or hooks and eyes for closure

Yardage Requirements:
4 yards 60″ wide, 5.5 yards of 45″, more if napped or patterned
