Belvidere photos!

The dress is Done!...Mostly. I didn't quite have time to get all the trim on. But it got closures!

All in all it was a fantastic event, if you ever have the chance to go to Victorian Belvidere I HIGHLY recommend it.

We had the most marvelous butler named Davis..

Who is a complete sucker for anything with four legs, a tail, and something to lick his face:

Bob is wearing what's called a mess jacket which sadly we don't sell a pattern for (so should you be dying for one poke Kass) but underneath he's modeling....

A lovely pair of our Victorian Trousers and a Men's Victorian Shirt.  (I would claim he's drunk in this photo but we all know that's just the way Bob is)

My Husband also sported a nice pair of Herringbone Victorian trousers

I would love to claim I made his lounge jacket from RH914 and his waistcoat from RH928 but I didn't, I got reeeally lucky at the thrift store, but they're dead ringers for those patterns should you want your own. Oh and fun costume tip of the day, that smashing tie tack of his? Stud earring I loaned him.

And now the moment you've all been waiting for, humor me k?, MY DRESS!

I think it turned out just smashing!! The silk was a DREAM to work with and had a wonderful body. I used RH943 for the bodice which I cut straight across the front instead of leaving a point. I used TV208 for the skirt and made view B without the front apron piece. Overall I'm very pleased with how it came out, it's by far the most comfortable Victorian bodice I own, I can move my arms easily and it doesn't cut into my armpits like others have.
