Sophisticated Gentlemen!  Make your own trousers!

Clark Gable looks amazing in a suit and you don't. It's all in the cut of your trousers, my son — fix that now! Buy this Reconstructing History pattern and get started!

Based on an original pattern from the early 1940s, these trousers are made in the American style with a flat front (no pleats), back darts, a belt with loops that sits at natural waist not on your hips like modern dress pants. Leg bottoms are cuffed and measure an impressive 21" in size 40.

Fits waists 28" to 50". All sizes in one envelope.

Also included are assembly instructions, embellishment suggestions, and the extensive historical notes you've come to expect from Reconstructing History.

Suggested Fabrics: suit weights, primarily wool or wool blends
Notions: zipper for fly
Yardage Requirements: 3 yards at least 36" wide
