Make yourself this Pretty Day Dress with this easy-to-use RH pattern!

Based on an original pattern from 1940, this one-piece ladies' day dress comes with a gored skirt that joins the blouse in a flattering built-up waistline at front.  A tied sash or belt conceals the join in back.  Gathers at the shaped shoulder yoke and mid-section decorate the dress.  Buttons close the neckline and may continue on the skirt or not.  Sleeves can be long or short.

Fits busts 30" to 50". All sizes in one envelope.

Also included are assembly instructions, embellishment suggestions, and the extensive historical notes you've come to expect from Reconstructing History.

Suggested Fabrics: printed silk, silk, rayon, faille, novelty cotton, linen, gingham, cotton voile
Notions: buttons, optional trim, shoulder pads
Yardage Requirements: 3.5 yards 54" wide or 4.5 yards 40" wide
