Based on an original pattern from 1953, this one-piece, shapely swimsuit fastens on the back with buttons or snaps.  Trimmed with shirring at the thighs, our 1950s Swimsuit makes a great beach outfit!

Fits busts 28" to 48". All sizes in one envelope. 

Also included are assembly instructions, embellishment suggestions, and the extensive historical notes you've come to expect from Reconstructing History.

Suggested Fabrics: BATHING SUIT:  wool jersey, linen, gingham, pique.  LINING: wool jersey
Notions:  5 buttons for back closure of bathing suit, 1 button for coat, interfacing for collar
Yardage Requirements: 2 yards 60" wide or 3 yds of 45" wide for suit; 3 yards 60" wide or 3.5 yds 45" for coat
