Ladies, no matter what you wear on the outside, you need the right foundation garments on the inside. Use our pattern, based on extant examples, to make your own shifts, pocket hoops, and hooped petticotes. Also includes instructions for other varieties of hoops.
Fits busts 28"-50". All sizes in one envelope.

Suggested Fabrics:
Shift: plain linen, fine linen for ruffles
Hooped Petticote garment weight linen, wool or silk
Pocket Hoops plain or striped linen or cotton
Wide Hoops linen or silk
Notions: thread; half oval reed, cane or hoop skirt boning; silk ribbon, cloth tape. twill tape or other narrow ware for boning channels and waistbands

Shift 3 yds at least 45” wide
Hooped Petticote 3 yds at least 45” wide
Pocket Hoops 1 yd at least 45” wide
