Meet the Killery Coat's little brother. Dating to the end of the 16th century or possibly the early 17th century, the Tipperary Jacket is very similar to the Killery and Leigh Coats dating from the mid-1600s.  Shorter and more stylistically "Elizabethan", the Tipperary Jacket is typical of the Irish imitation of foreign styles using native tailoring techniques.

Buy our full-size paper patterns with complete instructions and historical notes to make a replica of the Tipperary bog find including long jacket with unique sleeve attachment and pinked collar.
