Make this beautiful late Victorian skirt!

Tired of the same old ruffled and trimmed Victorian skirts like all your Victorian friends wear? Use our pattern, based on an original pattern from the 1890s, to make a late Victorian strapped and pleated skirt.  Enjoy the swish of the Gilded Age!

Note: This pattern is for the skirt only.  This pattern does not include the bodice.  See RH943 for Bodice pattern.

Fits waists 20" through 40" and hips 30" through 50". All sizes in one envelope.

Also included are assembly instructions, embellishment suggestions, and the extensive historical notes you've come to expect from Reconstructing History.

Suggested Fabrics: silk crepe, faille, taffeta, woollens, velveteen, corduroy, flannel, linen

Notions: thread; hooks and eyes, snaps, or buttons for closure

Yardage Requirements: 4 yds at least 60” wide; 5.5 yds 45" wide
